Request for alumni response, sent by Matt Libby on 03/17/2004:

Hello, fellow Cross Product alums!

As you may have seen in the Jan. 11 announcement from Daniel Wendel [see below], the Cross Products are turning their spring concert into a "reunion concert", celebrating the 15th anniversary of the group and God's faithfulness over those years. Naturally, everyone is invited, and alumni in particular. The concert will be Saturday, May 15, starting at 4pm. It will definitely be a very special experience that you will remember for a long, long time.

What's more, Cross Product alums have been invited to participate in the concert! Among other things, we have been asked to prepare a few "songs of yesteryear" (fifteen is a lot of yesteryears), which we will sing in the concert. The songs are still being selected, but you can be certain that they will all be gems.

I am writing to you with an URGENT request. PLEASE reply to me with the following information (even if you're not planning on attending or participating):

[in a handy cut-and-paste format]

----------------
NAME ( + maiden name):

WILL YOU BE SINGING WITH US:
[Definitely yes] [Possibly] [Definitely no]

WILL YOU BE ATTENDING THE CONCERT:
[Definitely yes] [Possibly] [Definitely no]

VOICE PART(S):

LOCATION (city, state):

EMAIL ADDRESS (which you check regularly):

PHONE NUMBER (please):

WHICH YEARS WERE YOU IN THE GROUP:

WHAT OH WHAT MUST I DO TO CONVINCE YOU TO SING WITH US:

----------------

If you are even marginally interested in participating in these alumni songs, I need to know that IMMEDIATELY. Knowing who is going to participate in this will affect which songs we can sing, and we need to start learning & preparing the songs as soon as possible (less than two months left).

If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to include them, too.

If you happen to know of any Cross Product alums who might not be on our mailing lists, PLEASE forward this information on to them or let me know about them.

Thanks for your time. I hope that there will be an overwhelming number of you who want to sing. Let's show these young whippersnappers what real sangin' is (just kidding). Even if you can't actually sing with us, I would still dearly love to see every last one of you at the concert. The last one of these that I attended (~three years ago) was absolutely terrific.
